New Hamburg Branch

Program Room, Outdoor Area

Designed for ages 8-12.

Join local artist and herbalist student, Lolo, and their trusty raccoon sidekick, Stinky, to learn about plants in our own backyard, then create a beautiful watercolour painting to reflect on what you've learned.

Logan Soeder, AKA Lolo (They/He), is a non-binary, neurodiverse, visual artist, budding herbalist and experimental puppeteer based in Kitchener, Ontario. Lolo has held art classes for children at Homer Watson House and Gallery and for adults at the Buddha's Light Center. Lolo's art practice and vision hold values in land connection, reconciliation, and healing. They have a drive to help connect individuals to the land. Even if it's on a strip of grass in a parking lot, there are many medicinal plants out there that Lolo is dying for you to meet and form a friendship with!

This program is specifically designed to be neurodivergent friendly.
