This session will feature Indigenous elder, Cindy Crowe, and speak to acknowledging the land and building meaningful connections with the Indigenous, African diaspora, and Mennonite communities.

Designed for Adults (18+)

Join Nicola Thomas founder of Sankofa Ecological Wellness (S.E.W.) formerly known as GRFF and author of BLM Collection ~ Soul to Soil in part 2 of this 4-part series as we explore the true agricultural history of Southwestern Ontario and the contributions of African Diaspora and Indigenous.

Participants will receive a private Zoom link from library staff to join the day of the event. Please remember:

  • Do not share your received zoom meeting invitation with others, as this is a closed meeting
  • Encourage anyone interested in joining our program to register to receive their own meeting invitation
  • Confirm sure your email address is accurate
  • On day of the event, ensure you log onto Zoom with the username provided in your registration
