You've spent hours (probably years) slaving over your book or article, now what? Join us for an evening of conversation with an agent, an editor, and an author.
Designed for Adults (18+). Presented in partnership with the KW Writers' Alliance.
Find out which path to publishing is best for you, and discover ways to get your work into your readers hands.
This panel will feature:
- Emmy Nordstorm Higdon, Literary Agent
- Pamela Mulloy, Editor at The New Quarterly
- Vanessa Ricci-Thode, Small Press and Self-published Author.
Some of the questions to be addressed, include:
- Are some books better suited for self/indie publishing?
- What are some of the perks of self-publishing? Is it worth it to set yourself up as a publisher?
- Why should an author look for an agent?
Participants will receive a private Zoom link from library staff to join the day of the event. Please remember:
- Do not share your received Zoom meeting invitation with others, as this is a closed meeting
- Encourage anyone interested in joining our program to register to receive their own meeting invitation
