Cindy Matthews has worked as a chambermaid, potato peeler, data entry operator, teacher, parenting instructor, vice-principal of special education programs, and instructor (Queen’s U.) of online additional qualifications courses for teachers. Now, she devotes herself fully to writing and painting in her studio-office in Bruce County.
Her fiction and non-fiction writing have appeared or are forthcoming in literary journals/anthologies throughout the world.

Located in downtown New Hamburg, the branch features a reading room and public Wi-Fi. The building has parking behind the building, a beautiful garden, and a bench upon which you can eat your lunch, and read a book, while watching the ducks, geese, and occasionally herons in the river.
